"Before Covid", I had lots of fun teaching art classes in Key Peninsula Schools through the WA State sponsored "Artists in Schools" program. (I have a double BA in Art and Art Ed). I also was teaching classes in my large studio in downtown Gig Harbor. I kept the Classes small so that I could give individual attention- and get to know the participants too. I hope to reinstate the popular "Starting Right with Pastels" (series of 5 classes) and a 4 week "Advantage of Textural Underlayment" and "Gelli Printing an Underlayment" nced Texture Techniques" series, as well as a "Gelliprinting textural Backgrounds" in 2026 (Covid permitting). When you take a class from me you not only get technique, but a little art history and a refresher in Art & Design Elements, too.
